Remote Control Construction Vehicles

Remote Control Construction Vehicles

Author: Darren Pace

When you think about remote control construction vehicles, you might think back to when you owned a construction toy as a child, playing in the sand box. Those may have been happy times, pushing your bulldozer around, digging up sand and dirt, loading it into the back of your dump truck.

Maybe you are of the younger generation, when these toys came out as remote controlled models, with cables connecting a controller to the toy, so you didn't actually have to get down and get so dirty, imagining that you were a construction worker doing great things, just like in the real world.

Well remote controlled construction vehicles have come a long way. These days when it comes to a remote control construction toy, they are radio controlled, and come in a wide variety of different vehicles.

There are still front end loaders, as well as dump trucks, but there are also back hoes, excavators, and even cranes, just to name a few.

They can be fun as well as educational, because these radio operated construction toys teach children to perfect their eye-hand coordination. And with their realistic sounds and operations give them the feeling they are working a real job.

There are many more factors, including dexterity, problem-solving skills, and this play can help them when they grow up.

Both adults as well as children can enjoy these remote controlled construction vehicles, and this is a great way for families to spend quality time together. The child can operate the front end loader construction toy, loading materials into the trailer of the dump truck, the parent driving to the final destination, and dumping the load. Later they can switch out so both can have a chance to use the different vehicles.

One of the nicest things about these remote controlled construction vehicles is that they are electric, with rechargeable battery packs that provide hours of construction fun. The radio controller also takes batteries, and these construction toys have realistic movements, sounds and even working head and taillights, adding to their realism.

The costs for these toys vary, depending on the type and size of the model.

Here are just a few of the many remote controlled construction vehicles that are available. You can find them at a variety of online retailers, and are a great gift idea for young and old alike.

One of these construction toy products is the 22" Digger Construction Truck. This construction toy has a movable arm, which can dig and dump, with a high-powered motor for realistic speeds and sounds. This model has headlights as well as taillights, and a fully functional transmitter. It comes with the vehicle, transmitter, a 4.8v rechargeable battery, the charger, as well as a 9v batter for the controller. This product is recommended for kids 12 and older.

Another construction toy in the remote control construction vehicles department is the Remote Control Dump Truck. This vehicle is super tough, with solid construction, and a high-powered dumping feature. It is able to drive around, as well as dump its loads. It too includes the 4.8v battery pack, the 9v controller battery, charger, and transmitter control.

RC Excavator – A Load of Fun for the Winter

RC Excavator – A Load of Fun for the Winter

Author: jsladream

A RC excavator is always a logical choice when you are looking to buy your very first piece of RC construction equipment.

Creating a project – whether it has to do with building a city, event stadium or airport – as RC hobbies can take time, most of all if you begin by designing a blueprint for the project before putting the RC toys to use to build everything. Because of this, designing and constructing projects end up making great gifts for children.

Regardless of what project you plan on working on, you will have to do some research.

After choosing your project, you can then go online to find out the measurements you will need. Your ultimate goal would be to scale down the measurements to your planned project.  After that, you will have to decide on the measurements for buildings, roads, ovals and airstrips. Then, you will have to draw the blueprint out on paper before building anything.

Once you reach the buying phase for toys, you will probably want to look into an RC excavator first since it can break ground, level out areas, and dig foundations and basements when you start building your project.

It might actually be smart to buy this RC model prior to doing any research, so that you can jump right into action after you design your project. It's up to you.

During the winter, a lot of places get covered in snow. Regardless of how little or how many snowfalls your area may get, you can create a playful project out of it if you have an RC excavator around.

The first thing you have to do is clear out an area to move the snow into.

Your goal should be to create a space that is big enough to maneuver dump trucks into, and to dump the snow of those trucks out into.

Begin by getting rid of deep snow with an RC excavator. As with actual digging, you will have to dig the snow by the bucket. Keep doing this until you have a shallow area where the excavators won't be able to fill up a bucket without getting into the ground.

After clearing the snow as much as possible, bring some loaders in and keep getting rid of the snow. Keep doing this until you clear a path, and have proper access to each area that you want to be able to get to.

Think about where to build the project after you plan everything.

Do you have any dirt mounds, material, or gravel in that area?

Excavators are especially helpful for transporting stuff, and leveling out your construction area – remember that. You can also dig holes with one, so what about starting a project that requires a mud bog, pond, or lake?

Now, don't forget to take a break every now and then. Don't sweat or over-exert yourself too much while getting rid of this snow, either.

What this RC excavator project is supposed to do is get rid of your snow during the winter in a fun way that the whole family will love.

Enjoy!
